Question 1

Do you only clean childcare centres?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Melbourne Childcare Cleaning focuses exclusively on childcare centres, long day care centres and early learning facilities. We do not offer domestic, office or school cleaning.

Question 2

Which areas of Melbourne do you service?

Accepted Answer

We are focused on Melbourne, Victoria, with a particular focus on northern and north-eastern suburbs such as Wollert, Epping, Craigieburn, Mernda, South Morang and surrounding areas. See our service areas page and contact us to confirm availability for your centre.

Question 3

When does cleaning take place?

Accepted Answer

Cleaning times are agreed with each centre. Most childcare cleaning is scheduled after closing so it does not disrupt children, families or educators, but the schedule is set by agreement during the proposal stage.

Question 4

How is the cleaning scope decided?

Accepted Answer

After your enquiry we discuss your facility, rooms, access arrangements and priorities. We then prepare a written cleaning scope and quotation so both parties are clear on what is included and how often.

Question 5

Do you provide cleaning checklists?

Accepted Answer

Site-specific cleaning checklists can be prepared as part of your service agreement, and completion records can be provided where agreed. See our checklists and quality assurance page for an example structure.

Question 6

Is routine cleaning the same as disinfection?

Accepted Answer

No. Routine cleaning removes dirt, dust and visible soiling from surfaces. Disinfection is a separate process using specific products and methods. Routine cleaning alone cannot guarantee the prevention of illness or compliance with regulations; your centre's own health and hygiene procedures still apply.

Question 7

Can you work with our centre's security and access procedures?

Accepted Answer

Access, key or alarm arrangements and any sign-in requirements are discussed and documented before service begins, so the cleaning team follows your centre's procedures.

Question 8

How do we raise a cleaning concern?

Accepted Answer

Communication arrangements are agreed at onboarding, including who to contact and how cleaning concerns or maintenance issues noticed during cleaning are reported.

Question 9

How much does childcare cleaning cost?

Accepted Answer

Pricing depends on your facility size, number of rooms, cleaning frequency and scope. Request a quote and we will prepare a tailored proposal for your centre.

Question 10

Do we need to sign a long-term contract?

Accepted Answer

Terms are set out in the written service agreement for your centre and discussed before you commit. Ask us about the arrangement that suits your operation.
